Hello 👋 We're Julia and Nick. Both Teddington locals for many years, Nick has run The Fun Factory shop since 2015, and Julia runs the recently created Wild Child World website and online shop.

The Fun Factory has been a much loved Teddington staple and THE #1 Local One-Stop Party Shop since 1996, providing not just the biggest balloon range in the Borough but a full range of high quality party supplies for every occasion and event.

The friendly, helpful team have decades of experience and knowledge and bundles of creativity, which has enabled them to create thousands of memorable events, balloon arches and rooms full of decorations over the years for every imaginable celebration.

Julia had been a long standing customer of The Fun Factory for many years (with three children aged 11, 9 and 7, there had been a LOT of parties to organise 😆). As part of the school PTA organising the school Christmas Fair, she approached Nick for sponsorship. Nick went above and beyond all expectations by donating and creating not one but TWO stunning balloon arches as well as custom printed balloons for the event.

During the course of the project, Julia noticed The Fun Factory wasn't selling online. After a lifetime career in the corporate marketing world, she had been thinking about setting up her own party & events business for a while, and over the Christmas holidays, she had an idea.

She approached Nick in January this year with a very different conversation to her usual "have you got any football balloons for an 8th birthday party..?"

...And the rest, as they say, is history!

So here we are today, finally launching what was just a twinkle in the eye at the start of this year. As part of our set up, we've formed a joint trading company between The Fun Factory and Wild Child World, called PartyWorks, so this is what you may see on bank statements and receipts from us.

We are very excited by this new chapter, and more committed than ever to our vision of providing the biggest and best balloon range, in the simplest way, with the best possible customer service.
